Well Mum , there is a little black bird in the garden today , at first I thought it was either a baby or hurt as it wouldn’t fly even if I got right close to her ,I kept the cats in as frightened they would get her , I put some water and food out for her but she wasn’t interested , she was hopping about the garden for about a hour pecking into the grass , I was getting worried as thought she couldn’t fly but later I saw her get a big worm she ate it and after that when I looked at she was gone . I searched all round the garden but she must have flown off , so she could fly after all .Then she came back this afternoon and let me get quite close again but then flew off and as she flew I heard her family calling .I take it they are your friends Mum and you sent them to visit .Always remember your blackbird family distant cousins and all .xx
